HARRISBURG - The Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network (PLAN) celebrated 30 years of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Internship Program on July 27, 2022 at the Hilton Harrisburg. LASP's Doylestown Office hosted Salem Amare, a 2023 J.D. candidate at William and Mary Law School. Debbie and Randy Blough spark mobile home project; receive 2022 PA Legal Aid Network Excellence Award for Lay Advocacy

(March 31, 2022) Debbie and Randy Blough discovered that mobile homes are overtaxed. They helped 22 Chester County mobile home owners successfully appeal their tax assessments in 2018. Legal Aid of Southeastern PA and United Way of Chester County have partnered to help 756 home owners from 2019-2021, with 2022 project under way.. Without the Bloughs, the project would not exist.
