NORRISTOWN - Montgomery County Clerk of Courts Lori Schreiber and the Montgomery County Reentry Initiative will host a Second Chance Resource Fair Monday, April 13, 2026 from 3-5 p.m. at the George Washington Carver Community Center, 249 E. Jacoby St., Norristown, PA 19401.

The event will offer a wide range of services, including reentry support, family resources, housing assistance, education, employment opportunities, health and wellness services, legal and court help, and access to government offices.

An expungement clinic will also be available and will include attorneys from Legal Aid of Southeastern PA.

This spring, LASP is participating in the third annual Delco Gives day! Hosted by the Foundation for Delaware County, Delco Gives is a county-wide effort to raise awareness and funds for nonprofits like LASP that provide important services to Delaware County residents. 

Every year LASP provides legal counsel and representation to thousands of Delaware County residents in need. Through your support, LASP ensures access to justice and due process in our local courts. 

Join us as we highlight and celebrate the importance of local legal aid. Every donation received May 6 & 7 wins LASP additional prize money!

Participate online: Starting April 1 through May 7, you will be able to give online as part of this event. You can donate at delcogives.org/donate/lasp.

Donations made between 7 p.m., May 6 and 7 p.m., May 7 will win LASP additional prize money!

  • Non-summary convictions cannot be expunged.

  • Some low-level drug & property-related felony convictions may be sealed if 10 years have passed.

A LASP attorney will present the virtual workshops (approximately 1 hour) on the following Thursdays: March 19, April 16, May 21 & June 18, 2026 at 4 p.m.

WARMINSTER — An Expungement Clinic will be held Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 6- 8 p.m. at the Ben Wilson Senior Activity Center, 580 Delmont Ave., Warminster, PA 18974. The event is presented by State Rep. Brian Munroe, Legal Aid of Southeastern PA (LASP), and Bucks County Clerk of Courts Eileen Hartnett Albillar.

The clinic is limited to Pennsylvania arrests and has additional eligibility requirements:

  • Only Pennsylvania arrests are eligible.

  • Must have no current criminal charges.

  • Must not be serving probation time.

  • Non-conviction charges, including ARD (Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition), or summary convictions with no arrests in the past 5 years can be expunged.

  • Any conviction qualifies for an expungement if an individual is 70 years of age or older and has been off probation over 10 years.

  • Many misdemeanor convictions may be sealed if 7 years have passed.

  • Some low-level drug and property-related felony convictions may be sealed if 10 years have passed.

  • Please bring copies of records (Optional).

MEDIA - Get help with discharge upgrades, Veterans Treatment Court and VA benefits!

The Delaware County Suicide Prevention & Awareness Task Force Subcommittee for Veterans will present “Benefits, Boards and Courts: Assisting Veterans with Discharge Upgrades, Veterans Treatment Court and VA Benefits” on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026, from 5:30-8 p.m. at Penn State Brandywine, 25 Yearsley Mill Road (Main Building, Room 113), Media, PA 19063.

Registration is required by Friday, Jan. 16, by contacting Shardae Wescott at 484-744-3269.

The program will cover applying for VA benefits, military discharge upgrades and how Veterans Treatment Court supports justice-involved veterans, with veterans service organizations available to assist with VA benefits applications.

The event is open to veterans and their families. Refreshments will be served. VA S.A.V.E Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training will be available following the panel discussion.

DARBY - A Delaware County Expungement Clinic will be held Monday, Jan. 19, 2026 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Darby Borough Council Building, 1020 Ridge Ave., Darby, as part of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service. Pennsylvania House Speaker Joanna McClinton and Sen. Anthony Hardy Williams will host Legal Aid of Southeastern PA and the Delaware County Public Defender Association.

The clinic will assist eligible participants with expungements and record sealing for qualifying cases.

Registration is required.

To be eligible for an expungement, you must meet these conditions.

  • Only non-conviction charges including ARD, or summary convictions with no arrests in the past 5 years can be expunged.

  • Non-summary convictions cannot be expunged.

  • Many misdemeanor convictions may be sealed if 7 years have passed.

  • Some low-level drug and property related felony convictions may be sealed if 10 years have passed.

  • Must have no current criminal charges.

  • Must not be serving probation time.
