Read More(Jan. 9, 2024) Charles Burrows was elected to serve on the SEPA VOAD Board. As LASP Staff Attorney, Charles works with Hurricane Ida survivors and SEPA VOAD partners to address long-term legal problems stemming from the storm in 2021.
Read More(Sept. 1, 2023) With the two-year anniversary of Hurricane Ida on Sept. 1, LASP continues to helps low-income survivors of Hurricane Ida , and will continue efforts related to the storm in Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties. In addition to working with low-income survivors, LASP also is a member of the SEPA VOAD, working with other organizations on disaster recovery across the region.

SEPA VOAD is a forum where organizations share knowledge and resources throughout the disaster cycle including response and recovery to help disaster survivors and their communities.

Read More(March 25, 2022) FEMA announced that PA will receive $5 million in federal funding to support in mitigation against future damage from natural disasters, through the Swift Current Initiative. The application period opens April 1, 2022, and closes Oct. 3, 2022. Check with county government to learn about any earlier deadlines.
