Virtual CLE for attorneys: When and How to Draft Private Dependency Petitions

This training will offer advocates a primer on how to draft private dependency petitions and when it is appropriate to advise clients to do so.  All advocates are invited, and this training will be particularly useful for anyone who practices family law.

Attendance on Aug. 2 from 12-1 p.m. is encouraged, but the training will be recorded for anyone unable to attend. 

About the presenter

Shannon K. McDonald, Esq., is an appeals and defense attorney who also serves as a Guardian ad Litem and children's attorney in dependency court. She is the Mental Health Review Officer in Chester County. She has been a sole practitioner for almost 11 years. Prior roles have included businesses, trial courts, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), and defense lawyer in an appeals clinic.
