AOPC data on Protection from Abuse petitions filed in 2019

(Oct. 2020) In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October, the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts (AOPC) presented data on Protection from Abuse (PFA) filings in Pennsylvania.

In 2019, the number of Protection from Abuse (PFA) petitions filed in LASP's service area totaled:

  • 2,037 in Delaware County

  • 1,551 in Montgomery County

  • 689 in Bucks County

  • 594 in Chester County
