MORTON - The Delaware County Suicide Prevention & Awareness Task Force Subcommittee for Veterans presents: Courts, Boards, and Benefits: Assisting Veterans with Discharge Upgrades, Veterans Treatment Court and VA Benefits. The event is Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 5-8 p.m. at the Delaware County Intermediate Unit, 200 Yale Ave., Room 150-151, Morton, PA 19070.

This event is sponsored by the Delaware County Suicide Prevention & Awareness Task Force Subcommittee on Veterans, with speakers and information from the Delaware County Office of Veterans Affairs, Coatesville VA Medical Center, PA Dep. of Military & Veterans Affairs, and Legal Aid of Southeastern PA.

Richard A.J. Prebil, Supervising Attorney of LASP’s Veterans Advocacy Project, will present on discharge upgrades and VA benefits for veterans with less than honorable discharge.

If you are interested in hearing more about how to upgrade your discharge from the military, how to apply for benefits with a less than honorable discharge, or how Veterans Treatment Courts help justice-involved Veterans, this is a must-attend event.

VA S.A.V.E Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training will be available to participants after the panel discussion.

VSOs will also be on hand to file VA Benefits applications.

Refreshments will be served.

The program is open to Veterans and their families.
