In the story, Alana Hook, Chief of the Social Services Unit of the Montgomery County Public Defenders, notes: “We’ll have 20 to 30 different county providers in attendance. Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania will answer any civil landlord and tenant issues. There will be mental health providers, housing resources and expungement information for criminal records. Mitzvah Circle has donated diapers, hygiene products, things that are hard to come by right now because of the pandemic. We tried to make sure that we’re tapping into what the county community needs right now, which is connection to resources.”

The event is hosted by Montgomery County Public Defenders, Greater Norristown N.A.A.C.P. and other local organizations.
