DOWNINGTOWN - Grandfamilies & Kinship Families throughout Chester County and Southeastern PA are welcome to attend a free regional event, Empowering Kinship Families Lunch and Learn, sponsored by PA KinConnector and Grandfamily Connections.

This hybrid event is Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023, from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Registration is required. The in-person event will be held at the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU Conference Center, third floor), 455 Boot Road, Downingtown, PA 19335.

This is an opportunity for Grandfamilies and Kinship families throughout the region to learn about available resources to support their unique family needs. To support their family stability and well-being, two educational workshops will be provided for the caregivers by PA KinConnector. Lunch will also be provided, and activities and giveaways are included. Fifteen community organizations will share resources. Stop by Legal Aid of Southeastern PA’s table at this event!
