PHOENIXVILLE - The Chester County Health Dept. is hosting the Potassium Iodide (KI) Dispensing Event & Community Resource Fair on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023 from 12:30-6:30 p.m. at 2276 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville, PA 19460, in the Covered Bridge Room. Everyone living or working within a 10-mile radius of the Limerick Generating Station or Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station should have KI tablets in their emergency kit in case of a radiological emergency.

In Chester County, these areas include: Charlestown Township, East Coventry Township, East Nantmeal Township, East Pikeland Township, East Vincent Township, North Coventry Township, Phoenixville Borough, Schuylkill Township, South Coventry Township, Spring City Borough, Upper Uwchlan Township, Uwchlan Township, Warwick Township, West Nottingham Township, West Pikeland Township, and West Vincent Township.
