Dealing with a criminal case sometimes means juggling civil legal issues as well. The Montgomery County Public Defender’s Office is partnering with Legal Aid of Southeastern PA (LASP) to help our clients access civil legal help. Legal Aid can assist with defending from evictions, appealing denials or terminations of benefits, and more, and provides free legal help to qualifying individuals. Every Wednesday, starting Jan. 6, 2021, from 3-5 p.m., an attorney with LASP will hold virtual office hours for Public Defender clients to drop in and talk one-on-one about civil legal issues.
